“We rarely hear the inward music,

but we’re all dancing to it nevertheless.

Welcome to my world of rhythm! As an Iranian female percussionist, I’ve dedicated my life to the art of music, breaking barriers and smashing stereotypes along the way. My music is not just about playing instruments; it’s about creating a community where everyone can feel the beat in their bones!

My journey began with a Bachelor’s in Theatre, Drama, and Performing Arts in Iran, and evolved as I pursued a Master’s in World Music in Germany, specialising in cultural diversity in music education.

I’ve collaborated with diverse artists, blending traditional sounds with modern beats. My work is deeply connected to the themes of political activism, feminism, and support for gender minorities, as I often engage with bands and projects that emphasise these values. My passion for percussion is infectious, and I strive to inspire others to pick up an instrument and join the rhythm revolution!

Whether I’m performing at a festival or leading workshops, my mission is clear: “to spread the joy of music and connect with people through the universal language of rhythm. Let’s make some noise together!”
